WHOS making a difference...

World Health Organization of Students (WHOS) is a club at UCI that was first inspired by World Health Organization.

This is what they have to say:
"The World Health Organization is the United Nations specialized agency for health. It was established on 7 April 1948. WHO's objective, as set out in its Constitution, is the attainment by all peoples of the highest possible level of health. Health is defined in WHO's Constitution as a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity." - WHO

Thus, we strive to maintain their mission of attaining health for all people and we start by focusing first on our community in Orange County.

If you share our passion for making a difference in our community, then WHOS is perfect for you! We participate in many local events and volunteer our time to help out our community.

All we ask from our members is a membership fee of $10, good for the entire year (less than $4 per quarter). This goes towards basic costs to run our club, as well as awards that we give out at the end of the year. Membership applications are available at our general meetings.
